We view the world of drones and robotic vehicles as a rapidly growing, evolving ecosystem that connects PEOPLE and INDUSTRIES together.

  • PEOPLE such as drone pilots and directors, educators and entrepreneurs, foresters and farmers, safety inspectors and software engineers, retailers and regulators.
     

  • INDUSTRIES such as agriculture and aviation, construction and consumer goods, firefighting and fabrication, logistics and logging, mining and media production, tourism and telecommunications.

Drone technologies are innovating Canadaby air, land and sea. 

​Yet like many technology and industry sectors, not everyone is equally represented in boardrooms, staff rooms and classrooms.

​

Globally, although 74% of young girls want a career in sciences, technology, engineering or math.....
.only 20% of tech jobs are held by women.*


This significant gender gap means that too many young girls and women do not turn their dreams into reality.
